Many times, this tissue cannot repair itself and root canal therapy is required to save the tooth and alleviate your pain. After Dr. McGraw performs root canal treatment, you should have no lasting pain or sensitivity in the tooth, and with good oral hygiene, the tooth should last for years. Dr. McGraw will use local anesthetics and make sure you are completely numb to make your treatment as painless and comfortable as possible.  For complicated cases, Dr. McGraw may refer patients to a root canal specialist.
